 Todd is from Ennis, Texas, Having fallen in love with the game of baseball after being raised by an umpire, Coach Todd played for Ennis High School, being apart of a team that went 24-9 and bi district champions after going 6-14 the year before, hitting .357. Coach Todd later when on to play for a year at Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma before deciding to step away from playing, later going into coaching for the TexElite Titans in Cedar Park, Texas. Relocating back to the DFW Metroplex, Coach Todd was very active in umpiring for the City of Ennis and offering private lessons. When not around the game of baseball, Todd loves spending time with his wife Brittany and his son's John & Jace. Coach Todd is available for private lessons, specializing in catching and hitting instruction.
